Portable Generators for the Jobsite

Portable generators can provide power for construction crews working on sites not yet connected to the local power grid. In such cases, you'll need a generator that can run operate for as long as 50 hours a week and provide enough power to run chop saws, circular saws, compressors, and other tools.

In addition to meeting heavy power demand, propane portable generators can be easier to store and use. Because propane does not degrade over time like gasoline, the fuel supply is more stable and reliable. Plus, there's no spillage when refueling.

As part of its mission to support research and development of new propane technologies, PERC has partnered with Generac to bring a 3,250-watt multipurpose generator to market. To learn more about this product, download and view the project fact sheet (PDF), available from propanecouncil.org.
