PERC Hosts Interactive Training Sessions at JLC Live
Live sessions focus on new propane-fueled space- and water-heating technologies
WASHINGTON (March 19, 2013) Amid rising interest in new energy-efficient technology, the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) will train builders on how to integrate energy-efficient propane into their projects at this year's JLC Live show in Providence, R.I., March 22 to 23.
An industry leader in builder training resources, PERC will provide construction professionals with free continuing education courses focused on space- and water-heating technologies in the Propane Innovation Pavilion located in PERC's booth (No. 436).
"Propane-fueled products deliver the comfort and performance to increase a home's marketability," Bridget Scanlon, director of residential and commercial programs for PERC, said. "Our JLC Live training sessions are an extension of PERC's ongoing effort to educate residential construction professionals about the economic and environmental benefits of building with propane. Session attendees will learn how to successfully incorporate these readily available propane-fueled products into building projects for maximum energy efficiency and cost savings."
PERC will host the following training sessions in the Propane Innovation Pavilion:
- "Advanced Space Heating and Zone Heating Options: Next-Generation Direct-Vent and Hydronic Furnaces."
Rinnai factory experts will discuss the latest advancements in space and zone heating products and the next generation of direct-vent wall and hydronic furnaces. They will also address how propane-fueled heating products can provide alternatives to electric heat pumps.
